What you guys think of Silva and Ibrma...Imbra...Swedish Andy Carroll goin to PSG for a rwported 49 mill, that number cant be right can it?

Rosicky isn't a guaranteed starter for the first team, bu i have to say his legs are far from gone. If anything he's just had his best season ever in an Arsenal shirt. Injury has always been a problem for him though, and it looks like he's been caught with it again at the Euro's![]()
Maxi was a popular figure at Anfield, but it appears his boyhood club in Argentina came in for him and the pull was too much to resist. I worry for Liverpool, especially after losing both Maxi and Kuyt. Who do they have left that can play out wide? Downing? god help them.

That's a little harsh don't you think? When the right player is available he's more than happy to spend the money. This summer alone (assuming Cazorla joins us for the 23 million Euros quoted in the papers) he will have spent nearly £50 million on three international class players. Arshavin cost £17 million, Walcott was a reported £13 including clauses, The ox was over £10 million after clauses. Vermaelen was £10 million.
Just because Man City and Chelsea have over inflated the transfer market, making everyone think that a good player should be worth £20 million at the least doesn't mean that buying players for around the £10 million mark is a sign of being cheap. It's just good business.

I'm happy with Chelsea's signings so far I think we now have a solid midfield with Marin, Ramires, Lampard, Mata and Hazard hopefully we can bring in a right back and a striker to cover Torres.

jaffabgood wrote:Yeah I think the RVP Torres comparison ends with them being footballers. As much as i think everyone is kinda over rating RVP i still think he's 100times better that Torres.
As for Chelskis signings, Hazzard sould be a great player in England, if you ask him he'll tell ya as much, I dont know much about the other guys to be honest. But after the drama that surrounded Hazzard coming to England and choosing Chelski over Utd, your welcome to him.
And I guess it was one of the RBR guys who changed the topic, there just trolling. Handegg is Football for them, god love them they wouldnt know a real sport if it hit them in the ass. Love the fact that more people watch El Classico than there are Americans

DaveRoberts wrote:Sponsorship. It hasn't been the league cup for years. It was called the Carling cup last season.
The reason it's known as the league cup is because only teams in the professional leagues can participate, unlike the FA cup where every club under FA jurisdiction can enter.
