I guess this is the best forum to post this in. The first teaser image is out for next year's new Thundercats series is out. What do y'all think?
I don't like the idea of redoing Thundercats, it was clearly a campy idea and it looks like they're trying to make it serious.

I had no idea they were making a new series. I assume it's animated as this poster suggests?

Nothing is locked up yet. They're working on getting a new series at least. Topless Robot reported that Bandai has the current toy license, and seemed unsure if that would lead to anything good.

I see your half-naked creature of lead and raise you Reuters.
WBA will partner on the project with Studio 4C, a Japanese animation studio whose credits include "The Animatrix" and "Gotham Knights."
"ThunderCats" will be Warner Bros. Animation's first anime series.
It joins the company's other series on Cartoon Network: "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" and the upcoming "The Looney Tunes Show," "MAD," "Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated" and "Young Justice."
