Just saw this trailer for CM punk's DVD. Certainly seems to have a different type of feel than the other WWE produced bio DVD's.

I didn't hear anything about ROH footage, but I think some IWA:MS is on there (Punk/Hero stuff)

I remember hearing somewhere they might have some IWA:MS maybe even some of his early Steel Domain matches. ROH is a longshot. About as likely as them getting Christian's TNA footage should they ever decide to make a DVD for him.

Big mistake. That DVD is one of the best WWE has produced in a long time. Only ones that compare are Bret vs Shawn, HBK's Heartbreak & Triumph, & potentially this upcoming DVD.

Doesn't mean I didn't "Watch" it Frank. The DVD was amazing, the matches were top notch. The point I was trying to make is that I didn't pay for Jericho's DVD when he is my favorite wrestler of all time, and I have no problem paying for this upcoming DVD if it's good.

So many repeat matches. Only match I want that I don't have on DVD is the Rey match from Armageddon.

Still, the documentary will be worth downloading.

To be honest there have'nt been a lot of WWE matches until this title run that really showed Punk in a shining light. The selection of matches for the DVD were narrow to begin with.

It should have still had the Extreme Rules vs. Chris Jericho match, along with some of his stuff against Orton.

Of course, that's to add no indy matches beyond OVW. I understand there are many things involved there but not even clips would be a disappointment.

It's been said before that some of his IWA-MS stuff made it on the DVD, as evident by the Blu-Ray extras having the infamous "No Microphone" bit.

They will have clips and highlights of at least the IWA:MS stuff. Pretty uch confirmed by both the listing of the No Microphone bit(thanks Felipe) and confirmed by a recent tweet from Marty DeRousa:

"Forgot that @KassiusOhno has a big part in the new @CMPunk doc talking about the old IWA-MidSouth days. Insane highlights."

I'm excited to see them as I wasn't even aware of CM Punk or the indy scene at that point in life.

The thing about Punk's WWE career is that the majority of his good matches came few years into his run rather (2008 and onward). To me, the peak of Punk's career was last year (I know it was the peak overall for him, but I am talking match quality wise) as his matches with Orton, with Del Rio, Cena and Rey were phenomenal.

That's why I wanted some indie stuff since I watched the majority of these matches. It will be interesting to get his view on his earliest days in the company, being a Paul E. guy and all good stuff from before his WHC run in 2008.
