Has anybody been following this? Watching the footage made my heart sink...that is just scary as hell to watch.

Japan might be one of the best prepared areas for something of that magnitude to hit though, so they'll probably minimize the death toll better than any other country on the planet could.

Been following it all morning, this is the largest magnitude earthquake to ever hit Japan but it looks as though they have coped very well with it. There are reports of someone dying after being struck by a falling object along with many injuries and fires.

My thoughts are with them all.
