With the release of Fast Five his past Friday, and Thor this upcoming Friday, The 2011 Summer Movie Season has Begun!

So since NPN is gone for the time being, I think this would be a good hub for this summer's movie discussion.

Start off by making a list of your most anticipated movies of the summer (May-August) going in order of how excited you are. At the end of august, come back here and edit your original post by adding a list of your favorite movies from the summer, so we can see how the movies stood up to our expectations.

Also, when ever you see a movie this summer, come here and give a small review and your NPN rating, (1-5) and just like the show, at the end of the summer I'll add a list on here of the best movies of the summer based on our NPN average score of each movie!

I'll start of with my list...

3.Captain America: The First Avenger
4.The Hangover: Part II
5.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
6.Thor
7.Cowboys & Aliens
8.X-Men: First Class
9.The Green Lantern

To be honest, I'm not all that hyped about this years movies. But, based off those movies from your list, here's my order:



1. Thor
2. Captain America: The First Avenger
3. The Hangover: Part II
4. 30 Minutes or Less
5. X-Men: First Class
6. Green Lantern
7. Fast Five
8. Cowboys & Aliens
9. Super 8
10. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2


And the first three are the only one I plan on seeing in theaters. Everything below #7 I do not want to see. :-/

"Super 8" is near the top of my list, if not the top spot. I love the feel of the trailers, and Abrams has proved that he can make a great movie. I'm excited to see it.
