Two words: Asian ref

Official Lee makes is the best raw ever.

Who am I kidding? This was a shit show.

Cena main events and other pay-per-view without the WWE championship.

Big show help Cena win since he's unemployed.

No Brock for ppv.

What a company.

Me too, Bass.

I like how Punk and Bryan is the midcard title feud, while they set up Big Show's reluctant heel turn like anyone gives a fuck.

The John Laurinaitis thing on this show felt very much like the TNA Board of Directors thing in 2010 where every time Hogan and Bishcoff did something heelish, they were foiled by some anonymous higher power that also had control of the show. TNA also did this with the The Network storyline.

What is the point of a heel authority figure on the show if they don't actually really have power to do whatever they want? Secondly, what would that say about the Board of Directors if Big Show is gone for a while? John can't have unfair stips but firing people for no reason is fair game?

I think it will be Big Show, not Brock Lesnar, that will help Laurinitis win.
It shows that Show will do anything to get his job back. It may even be a "surprise" to Laurinitis.

This Raw was awful...except for Paul Heyman standing up to bullies.

So what most people are thinking is Big Show, who was fired by John Laurinaitis, will come in to help him so he can get his job back because it is a match where anyone one on the roster can be fired for interfering, but Big Show was already fired so he can't be re-fired, so Johnny can hire him back after he helps him win.

If this were the case, why couldn't Otunga or anyone else help if Johnny can just hire them back. Wouldn't a board of directors take issue with him finding a loophole to win and hiring back someone for doing something that would get anyone else fired? And why wouldn't Big Show just let him get fired and see if the next GM will hire him back?!

All that being said, with WWE logic, you're all probably right.

So, I love that they set up Kane vs. Ryder on the pre-show a week in advance,

Now who wants to bet me a million dollars that there's an impromptu Ryback and Brodus squash added to the PPV the night of?

They're making enough of a fuss about the pre-show matches that it means more to be on the Youtube show than to be thrown on to the PPV.

I love the way a few weeks back Cena was sayin on twitter that he'd make an iMPACT somewhere else if wwe fades him out, yet Big show would rather get on his knees and beg to keep his job that even consider going to TNA.

Ive also gotten to the point that when John Cena starts goin off on one as usual i just turn off, id rather hear the fatal four talk about it than actually watch that useless bastard try cut a promo

So what are the odds WWE actually tries to change the ending to Cena/Ace now that everyone and their mother (at least those who use the Internet) sees the ending coming from a mile away?

Is it? They're probably reaching a point where a deal with Google, plus ad revenue, would make streaming the lesser shows on Youtube more profitable than their PPV business.

To be perfectly honest, I must say that I got a sick joy out of watching John Cena; There's a certain admiration I have when someone knows that one of his biggest criticisms is being annoying, and responds by being as unbearable than any of us could have imagined, because FUCK YOU...that logic sounds kinda familiar to me, for some reason...

I was hoping that just to confirm my belief that Cena was blatantly going as far as he could, he would have ended his promo saying "THE ARISTOCRATS!"

That said, I did mark when he referenced "The Manchurian Candidate", of all things, to complete silence.

Vince is gonna change the finish like 60 times on Sunday. I wouldn't be surprised if they go as far as writing the show down Russo style on a restaurant napkin.

I would love it if they made sure Cena wins just because of how angry those 40+ people on facebook got, only to somehow keep Ace on tv next week anyway saying that he's only been fired as GM and not as VP of Talent Relations (and still gets authority to make matches somehow too).

The reason you know Big Show is going to win it for Laurinitus is because it's classic illogical WWE booking. Wouldn't it make better sense for Big Show to just let Laurinitus get fired so he can be rehired without doing someones bidding? I really hope they go through with it anyway because it's about time we got to see Cena vs Big Show.

How sad is it to say "ratings are at their lowest point since THE BUILD TO WRESTLEMANIA FEATURING JOHN CENA VS. THE ROCK"? A Decade ago that would mean a really good thing. 5 years ago that would mean a good thing.

By the way, I love how when Triple H mentions all the wrestlers that Brock "offended" with his legitimacy remarks, he doesn't mention Rock, Austin, or Foley.

Fuck Triple H.

So this sounds like we're due for a Cena/Big Show match headlining the next ppv with a second main event of HHH and Brock Lesner.

This company marginalized their own prestigious championship.

Big Show interfering makes the most sense especially since Ace looks SO fucking awful in wrestling gear nobody would buy him winning even if Cena had one arm. Yeah it makes more sense for Show to sit at home and wait for Ace to be fired, but if that option is never presented to the viewer i doubt many will care.

I'm behind this if it happens, at least it makes this weeks firing have a fucking point...

From the observer...., JOHNNY ACE IS A DRAW
- As noted before, the May 14th WWE RAW Supershow did a 2.95 cable rating with 4.22 million viewers. The show did a 1.9 in male teenagers, which could be an all-time low in that demographic - down 24% from the previous week.

In the segment breakdown, the opener with Paul Heyman and Triple H started strong with a 3.32 quarter rating. CM Punk and Santino Marella vs. Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan plus the Beth Phoenix vs. Alicia Fox match lost 601,000 viewers. John Cena's Make-A-Wish segment lost 370,000 viewers and did the lowest rated quarter in months with a 2.64 rating.

Kane vs. Big Show and John Laurinaitis firing Show gained 1,033,000 viewers for a 3.37 quarter rating. This was one of the best 10pm gains of the year for RAW. Brodus Clay, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger lost 996,000 viewers.

Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho gained 108,000 viewers and the closing segment with Cena and Laurinaitis gained 990,000 viewers for a 3.43 overrun rating. This was among the best overrun gains of the year.

In the Show-Laurinaitis segment that gained so well, Male Teens went from a 2.0 to 2.6 rating, Female Teens went from a 0.8 to a 1.0, Males 18-49 went from 2.2 to 2.9 and Women 18-49 went from a 1.0 to 1.3 rating.

In the Cena-Laurinaitis segment, Male Teens went from 1.3 to 2.1, Female Teens went from 0.7 to 0.9, Males 18-49 went from 2.5 to 3.3 and Women 18-49 went from a 1.1 to 1.3

Someday they won't have all-time shit segments featuring John Cena to draw in the remaining, delusional wrestling fans that haven't been run off over the last ten years.

Come on Matt that "Shit Segment" had the largest gain of viewership in some time. Plus today fan only know bad, badder and baddest until Cena is gone for long period of time we won't know the viewship change. Considering most of the WWF audience left after WM 17 most of the fans today don't know what a good segment looks like
